“숭실대학교 ‘우주물질 중점연구소’는 한국연구재단 중점연구소로서 핵, 천체핵, 천체, 입자, 플라즈마 및 통계 물리의 연구 및 그 성과를 바탕으로 우주에 존재하는 다양한 원소 및 물질들의 기원과 성질, 특성 등을 우주의 진화 과정 및 항성의 진화과정에 대한 미시물리적 전산모사(Simulation) 연구를 통하여 진행하고 있습니다. 연구팀은 △페르미 △볼쯔만 △랑다우 △허블로 구성되어 20여 명의 연구자들이 세부연구 및 융합 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.”

We seek applications for postdoctoral researchers and research professors at the OMEG Institute, Soongsil University, Seoul, Korea.
Research Field : Theory for Nuclear Physics, Nuclear-astrophysics, Hadron Physics, Cosmology, Particle Physics
Contract Term: 1+2 years (Extendable up to 3+3 years) & starts from June or July 2021.
Salary : Postdoctor (35-45 million KRW/year), Research Fellow (45-60 million KRW/year)

Goal of the OMEG Institute is to understand the origins of elements and exotic matter in the universe through the simulation study of the universe and stellar evolution from the femto-scale physics.
