Title : Understanding a bump structure at W = 2.1 GeV in forward differential cross sections in ɸ-meson photoproduction
Abstract : The ɸ-meson production has a unique feature within gluon dynamics of being a result
of Okubo-Zweig-Iizuka (OZI) suppression due to the dominant ss̄ structure of the ɸ(1020) meson. It is known that diffractive Pomeron exchange governs the monotonically increasing high-energy behavior of the cross section of ɸ-meson photoproduction. However, it cannot explain the bump structure near the threshold region at forward angles. I will introduce some papers which shed light on the nature of this bump structure.
