Title: High-precision measurement of the W boson mass with the CDF II detector
Abstract:
CDF II collaboration has recently reported the W boson mass
which has about 7-sigma deviation from the Standard Model prediction.
This anomaly(?) might require new physics beyond the standard model, or new ideas not previously thought of.
In this journal club, we review this anomaly, and then discuss how it can be explained.
